Implemented Find result from posts in a date range

Our forum has 16 years of history and we need to be able to find keywords in posts or other content with a range of creation dates. e.g date later than yyyy-mm-dd and earlier than yyyy-mm-dd.

Elastic Search appears to support this usage but the XenForo search form does not support it.

This would be extremely useful - we have a forum of similar age with a vast amount of knowledge stored in it.

I agree. One of my forums is 13 years old and finding useful posts that are old should be a option in the default XF search.

We need this. Thankfully @Xon has added this to his Search Essentials. It baffles me why this simple function is not in the XF user interface because the functionality already exists. I wonder if it was left out by mistake?

It is literally just some minor UI work!

Perhaps relatively few installation care about the 10 to 20 year old discussions and images. We care about them a lot because the underlying material is 200 to 300 years old with continuing development to the present.

Not sure if it was mentioned anywhere but this was implemented in XF 2.2.
