Add-on Featured photo or content block

Need an automated way to pull great photos from threads out front in the forum, putting them either in the masthead or in a block.

Interestingly, SLRuser.com is using User Albums and has a nice photo strip on the main page. I'm not certain if this functionality is part of User Albums, or they've customised it.

I ended up going with this extension, as it seemed more suitable for our purposes. I didn't like how User Albums seemed isolated from the rest of Xenforo (how do you easily insert album photos in posts?). It seemed more interesting to display a summary of all images on the main page.
