XF 2.2 Favicon display incorrect on ACP

I changed the favicon for our site and it is displaying properly on the public site. But on the ACP, it is still showing the old vBulletin icon.

Any tips on how to correct this. I've done a cache refresher for the site and the browser but still getting the old data

You'll want to delete or replace any favicon.ico file in your site's root directory.

That deleted the vB icon but replaced it with a generic one rather than the one loaded for the site. Note difference:

XF doesn't specify any favicon for the control panel, so your browser will fall back on the domain favicon.ico file if it exists. So if you do want one for the control panel then you'll want to upload a replacement there.
