XF 2.2 Fav Icon Problem

Use incognito or a different browser to see it.

In your browser clear your cache and that will also show it.

Easier way sometimes is to click the lock icon beside the URL and delete all files for the site, I have had that work.

Good luck

the favicon is a problematic little bastich.

Generally ALL you need to do is place it in the home directory of your website and most search engines and browsers SHOULD pick it up... but sometimes you DO have to jump through hoops.

As long as you have it defined in your ACP (if using the default style or actually any style that doesn't have a special style setting for it) you should not have any issues with it displaying..... eventually. :p
