Fake virus alert

Is anyone getting this kind of "fake virus alert ads"?

I'm not dealing with this, but it's either an advertisement or a phishing scam attempt.

I would just to be safe plug your phone up and scan it or download a malware remover in the market just to be sure your phone is not jacked up.

That happens a lot with random sites if you don't have any kind of ad blocks (mostly targeted to Android phone though, from what I have seen). A lot of nasty ads out there. But you can be sure that those messages didn't come from any security software that you have installed on your phone. It wouldn't have popped up as a browser popup originating from the website if that was the case (at least if the security software developers were sane enough).

If you're still concerned, feel free to test out reputable security software from the Play Store. I recommend AVL or Tencent. Though to be fair, the only reason I recommended both of those is because I use a Xiaomi phone with their own Android customized OS called MIUI, and their built-in anti-virus integrates AVL and Tencent virus definitions (both can be enabled at the same time for maximum security). So I'm assuming the MIUI devs had paid enough attention to their credibility.

It's not a matter of my phone... The problem is for my users and guests. :-(

I have users saying that it happen only on the forum so I would like to know if there a way to exclude/black list this ads.

Oh, it happens on your forums? Thought it was random encounters with some random sites (didn't notice where this thread was posted). If you're positive that it really came from AdSense, well.., you'll have to consult with them (although I suppose you've done that).

On a side note, I do get a lot of those with some random sites. Though I didn't bother inspecting the source since it didn't really concern me (my site doesn't use ads). However I do feel like getting an ad block for my phone, but one that can run in the browser only and allows Google account syncing.
