XF 2.2 Extra /forums in url

When I go into a forum category the site adds an extra /forums/ to the url. If I take out the extra /forums/ I get an error saying the page can not be found.

Example - Site name/forum/forums/thread title.

How do I fix this so it is just site name/forum/thread title

In setup - options - basic options - board url is site name /forum

XF is installed in the /forum directory on the server so all URLs have /forum.

The extra /forums is when viewing a specific forum, e.g. https://xenforo.com/community/forums/troubleshooting-and-problems.24/

So there is no way to get around the double forum/forums/ in the url? Its not a big deal, just looks odd.
