XF 2.1 Exporting Default Style

Hiya,

I want to export the default style to make a dark version of it but it exports a pretty much empty XML file, only contains:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<style title="Default style" description="" user_selectable="1" base_version_id="2010470" export_version="2">
  <templates/>
  <properties/>
</style>

Anyone know how I can get the full export of it?

Hi,

Thank you for doing that but that was what I tried first and it still gives the same output. Unless it's normal, but it don't make sense as there is no styling code inside it.

if there is no modification on default style than you get the style file empty.

Is it not possible to install a copy of it to modify it?

you can modify the template of the default style on AC or with css

Create a new style with no parent.

You can do what I did, just use the Dark Default Jordyn provided here: https://xenforo.com/community/resources/xf2-0-xf2-1-dark-default-style.6756/

Then modify the style to how you see fit. It's less re-coloring work IMO.
