Not a bug Existing Avatars Lose Image Quality After Import

After importing my existing IPBoard DB, the thumbnails lose their quality. My avatar is razor sharp, but I'm using Gravatar

Well, that's a significant part of the problem. You're stretching a 96x96 image up.

In XF2, you'd be better off shrinking the large version: http://www.armorygamers.com/data/avatars/l/2/2444.jpg?1505697172

(Note that the large version has been generated as part of the XF2 upgrade so it's quality won't be 100% in all cases. Ideally, you'd want to upload a fairly large image in XF2 to get the highest quality value saved.)
