XF 1.1 Exclude subforum from "What's new"?

Hey guys and gals,

I'd like to know whether there is an option to exclude a subforum to show up in the "What's new" feed or not?

We have a subforum showing RSS feeds from Twitter and the like and it's (understandably) annoying some of our users. I do love to have these kind of feeds on the forums to comment on though, so I am looking for a way to exclude sub forums.

I'd be willing to use a modification if there is one as well.

Admin CP -> Applications -> Display Node Tree -> [click the forum] -> Forum Options: Include threads from this forum when users click "What's New?"
