Should I increase my max_execution_time just for this process?
If yes, What should be the ideal value?

On my dedicated server, the php Maximum execution time is set at 30 seconds. I use Imagemagick and don't get any server error logs.

PHP version 5.4.17
MySQL version 5.5.32-cll
Architecture i686

I don't know, cause I just saw it on my /public_html/error_log
