Enhanced Search - fallback to normal search?

Hi,

is there an option if the elasticsearch server isn't available/down, a search will be provided by the built-in search?
If not, woul you mind to implement such a feature?

As most people will clear the MySQL search tables once they install ES, a fallback would be somewhat ineffective.

Ineffective, yes, but when elasticsearch is down for e.g. maintenance, users won't get any search results, right?
So I want to ensure the users have _always_ the possibility to use the search function, either ES is running or not.

Elasticsesrch is extremely reliable and will be available 99.999% of the time.

There's literally no reason to maintain two complete indices at the same time. It would make more sense to have a second ES instance running which is a mirror node on a different cluster.
If it's a planned maintenance, you simply could disbale Enhanced Search, rebuild index and you are free to go.
