What follows is an empty "SPOILER" BB code (you cannot see it here on XenForo 2.3.2):
This is what it looks like in BBCode mode:
[SPOILER="My spoiler title"][/SPOILER]
One of our users was confused when he got the syntax wrong (he accidentally entered the spoiler contents not in-between the tags but in the argument).
Another aspect of this issue that I thought about is that it can be (ab-)used to hide text in messages that will be invisible to users and moderators but will be indexed by XenForo's search engine.
Maybe show a "missing content" placeholder for spoilers without content instead of skipping them altogether?
