XF 1.2 Emails not being sent

Hello I am having a issue where it wont send the email confirmation. Can someone tell me how to fix this issue. Thanks

Not that I know of. How can I check sorry I am new to this I just brought xenforo

Can you tell me where to go in the ACP to test it out. I do see Email users if that is it.

Use Email Users and narrow it to just yourself using the criteria.

Try checking that little box which reads,

Set return path with -f parameter

I've seen some providers who will not send mail without it.

If this doesn't work, you may not have server side permissions to use php to send e-mail. And you may very well have to use your servers mail servers to send out mail.

I need help with the part where it Sends a randome gen password. When I set that up like it shows it wont send the email showing the random gen password it just show a link to verify there email.

For this to work perfectly, then not work, then work....ect.... You may want to contact your host or simply try using their mail server (not the php way).

Have you checked Spam folder? Emails tend to be detected as spam if you are running on shared host or vps. Or maybe it's delayed by the server email agent. Best to request support from your hosting provider.

Or you can use this http://xenforo.com/community/resources/bd-mails.2313/, for small site, Mailgun or Mandrill free package should be enough

It seems like that it works with some people and some people it does not work.
