XF 2.0 Email template/colors

Hello, how can I change color of button "view_this_thread" and "please_review_files" in emails? I need to change background of this button, but I don't know how to edit this template

Pretty sure you can change it in core.less under the email tab. Look for .button { ... }

What settings affect the button from the email? On the forum, all the buttons are ok. I have a problem only with an email..

My users still receives ugly-looking buttons in emails

My class .button and .button-cta on the forum are displaying well. The problem only occurs with emails, I tried to change class in thread_forum_macros, but it did't help.

The style properties in use for the button element are @xf-paletteColor4 for the background colour and @xf-paletteColor1 for the text colour.

That explains a lot... I tried all the time with button color settings.

How can I change this?
I would like to set a color like ".button--cta"


It would be enough for me to use the @ xf-paletteColor3 color instead of @ xf-paletteColor4


But perhaps the easiest way is to change all the colors in the whole template. Thanks for the guidance!

I think that ultimately you need to fix the colour conflict. The general concept behind the palette colours is they should go from dark to light (or light to dark on a dark style). So @xf-paletteColor1 really should be a much lighter colour in your style, and that should sort it.

Ok, I don't know about it, my style was converted from xF1, my colors now:


I will try to change this but miss the option to set the style of the button.
