Email and plugin system questions

I have tested the demo version and I can't get emails to work. I have also seen people with problems getting their email to work too. If I bought Xenforo cloud, would the email system still work?
Also in the demo, I can't get plugins to work, do plugins work normally in Xenforo cloud?

Yes (it wouldn't be weird for the demo to have emails disabled)

Yes (but they may not allow EVERY plugin with Cloud although I think most are accepted).

The demo is restricted in terms of email and add-ons.

Cloud plans have no such restrictions but as abovem there are a handful of add-ons which can't be used.
