XF 1.4 Email Alerts on New Thread

Some of my moderators are wanting to get an email alert whenever a new thread is created. Is this possible?

You mean whenever anyone creates a thread?

Yes. Any time a new thread is created. This particular forum is not real busy, so they are wanting to get an external alert when a new post is made.

Oops - they should watch the forum, not thread. You can watch specific forums the same way as my above screenshot shows where the link will be.

I believe I'm using this add-on to achieve what you're looking to do - [bd] Forum Watch for XenForo 1.2+

I have it set for ALL Administrators to receive email alerts for All New Threads and All New Comments. Has worked well for me.
Looks as if Zynephix has also recommended the same.

I just wish Xenforo offered the option for members to choose how often they would like to receive email alerts as vB was able to do. One would choose to receive a summary of comments at End of Day, End of Week or As They Happen. From what I gather, Xen doesn't offer this out of the box and I cant find an Add-on.
