XF 2.3 Either 'text', 'image' or 'video' should be specified (Errors in Google Search Console)

I have about 660 items affected in the Google Search Console and it keeps increasing. It won't allow me to validate the URLs. What can be done?

It’s likely related to posts without text content. We’ve made note of it for the future, but it’s often a tiny minority of all available messages.

They won’t be eligible for rich results, but that doesn’t prevent them from being crawled or indexed, or affect ranking.

it seems posts with only smilies no text in it.. cause this issue.. can smilies be treated as text? as a fallback?

text should pic up from the alt tag, but that doesn't always exist or is relevant.

so what is the best way ? anyway to have minimum characters for post? so it will force users to post any text ? rather than just a smiley ?

I think the best thing is to just ignore it on google. it's simply telling you that it found that. a simile thread won't rank anyway. If there's other content, those words will be used instead for ranking.

seems even if one post has smiley .. google marks it as failed whole thread .. we have 137k failed ....

That isn't the issue, it's that those posts don't have any textual content. I can only reiterate that this impacts rich result eligibility for a small subset of individual posts and has no impact on overall indexing or ranking. We've noted it for the future.
