Designed as a lightweight administration tool, Eggy Login Log makes it easy to investigate account access, review failed authentication attempts, identify unusual login patterns and filter login activity without relying on external services.

This is a great idea.

There are other missing logs in Xenforo.
like Xenforo doesn't log user searching.

Good suggestion, I’ll be adding user search logging in a future update so searches made by members can be tracked and reviewed from the Admin CP.

Eggy updated Eggy Login Log with a new update entry:

Just a thought as we're getting data, would be amazing to have IF user fails to log in X amount of times, send data to API / Webhook or to email them, asking them if they need help

Hello

This is actually a fantastic feature idea to add. I will aim to release this update as early as next week. Thank you for the suggestion! This would set as off by default though as most users would probably reset their password in this scenario but all ideas are welcomed :-)

Eggy updated Eggy Login Log with a new update entry:

Eggy Login Log 1.0.4: Introducing Login Guard

We're pleased to announce Eggy Login Log 1.0.4, introducing Login Guard, a new account security and recovery system.

This update was inspired by a customer feature request to detect repeated failed login attempts and offer affected members assistance. We've expanded on that idea considerably, introducing additional security monitoring, administrator notifications and account recovery safeguards.

Just to let you know, version 1.0.4 has now been released, and your requested feature has been added! I've actually expanded on your original suggestion quite a bit. Administrators can now configure failed login thresholds for individual accounts and IP addresses, with the option to send affected members an assistance email. I've also added native XenForo alerts, automated DMs and email notifications to keep administrators informed when suspicious login activity is detected. There's also a new Login Guard recovery system where members can set a memorable question and answer to help them regain access, with additional safeguards such as attempt limits, cooldowns and expiring recovery challenges.

Everything is optional and disabled by default, so administrators can enable whichever features they need. Thanks again for the suggestion. It turned into a much bigger update than originally planned!

Hi, emails are working fine on my end, so I'm not sure what's causing that for you. Could you pop a ticket in at https://support.eggy.net and I'll happily take a look? Just helps me keep support requests organised rather than trying to sort things through comments or DMs.

Thanks!
