Browser issue Editor jumps to the top when hitting return with image embedded in iOS

With an image embedded, hitting return inside the editor when below the image causes a jump in the editor back to the top. This becomes a big problem with lots of images embedded inside the editor.

This appears to be a manifestation of a similar bug which had a similar behaviour when backspace was used.

I've asked Froala to re-open the issue.

I've just tested this, and unfortunately it still isn't right.

The behavior appears to have changed slightly, the editor jumps upwards on hitting return, but doesn't go all the way to the top.

Maybe I'm not seeing the same thing. If you can create another screen recording demonstrating the issue, I'll see if I can get them to take another look.

Froala have replied and they say that there are no longer any special behaviours happening on return/backspace so they suspect that the current behaviour is coming from the browser itself.

Interestingly, I think I have reproduced this in Redactor 3 too so I suspect they could be correct:
