XF 1.2 Editing a thread and going to more options creates unspecified error

Hey there,

Just upgraded to 1.2 last night. Just noticed that when I edit a thread, then click on 'more options' so I can upload an image I get an 'unspecified error'.

There's nothing in the error logs on the server or in xenforo when this happens.

Is there a way to debug what the actual error is?

Disable all add-ons and try again.

If it works fine with add-ons disabled, re-enable them one at a time to determine which one is causing it.

Was just doing that

Found a plugin that was causing it. I'll contact the dev to see if he experiences it also. We probably have some change to it that is causing the issue.

The dev can't duplicate it so it has to do with a change we've made or something that happened during the upgrade perhaps...

Is there any way to see what is generating the unspecified error?

It could be a combination of one or more add-ons conflicting.

Try using the console in the browser to see if anything is captured when the error is thrown.

Which add-on is it?

Check your mod_security configuration/rules. It might be that too.

Oops - sorry.. it was an issue w/ the recentfeatures block w/ xenporta.. or at least the one I had.
