Browser issue Editing a list and adding an hyperlink to the list

Happens to me with Chrome 29 and OS X

1. Create a thread like this:

A list of items with dots

2. Press the edit button

3. Stay in the overlay and try to add an hyperlink to one of the items in the list

4. After you do that, a new line appears after the hyperlinked item

I can reproduce this though it looks like a browser issue as we mostly just use the browser when linking elements. It's adding an <a> tag immediately after the </li> for some reason. It only happens when you have the whole <li> selected - it looks like the browser changes the selection to select the <li> itself.
