XF 1.1 Duplicate live XF to local copy

Hi,

Whats the best way to make a copy of my live XF site to a local copy on my pc, my database is pretty big over 1Gb ?

Ideally I wanted to install a fresh local copy of XF and import a copy of the live database into it, but i guess its not that simple
