XF 1.2 Draft posts still lingering after posting

My users are complaining about the fact that their previous post is lingering in their editor AFTER they have posted. Is there a way to stop this happening so after posting the draft is flushed? This is particularly a problem on IPad.

If it's the actual drafts, then they would appear on other devices. Is that what you're (they're) seeing?

Or is the issue of the text just not going away when they click "post reply"? If that's the case, it may indicate a JS error. It's not something that I've seen reported before, and style customizations (advertisements) and add-ons could interfere here.
