Looks like you just have to many things in your nav and its throwing it off like that.

I think I'm a little confused by your issue then. So your nav is fine just when you press your donate button is goes no where?
Have you completely uninstalled and reinstalled the addon?

We are currently running a really old 1.0 beta 3.1.7.1.
If I purchase the new version, should I just uninstall the old one first or will it upgrade? Either way is fine for me.
Also, when someone donates, does this version automatically update the amount donated so the donation bar/widget will show the user their donation has been recorded? Currently we have to manually add them (or so I'm told by the chap who admins the donations). Thanks in advance

You should probably wait until the new dev starts putting out regular updates. IMO judging by all the issues this addon does not seem to be worth 50 USD and should be discounted to bring goodwill towards the new dev.
Its a pity that Robbo of all people was the only one who created a donation manager. Would have bought this without hesitation by now if the dev was a well known reputed dev on here.

Yes the donation bar and Raised So Far box both update automatically.

The person who wrote it (Robbo) and the person who now owns and maintains it (vbgamer45) are two different people... The original Author checked out but the product has a successor who only just a cpl days ago released a small update.

Since the update to XF1.4.5 the line to add the paypal adres is not showing anymore, so its not possible to accept donations.

Maybe its just supressed. What happens when you click the donate button on the front end?

It says we dont accept donations anymore, so i checked to see if the correct emailadres for paypal was there and then i saw this

I fixed it, reinstalled the manager helped. But strange that the update removed it.

well i install update just fine and i had no issues.. although i did clear the http://yoursite/js/merc/donation_manager.js from cloudflare.. with some of the major addons such as this it best to do this after every update

I lot of authors will get back to you I think the longest was around couple of days that is reasonable! I put a support ticket found his email nothing and that was over a week ago for the amount he is asking for the add-on personally and this is just me, I think he should be a little more on the ball. I mean even a quick email saying I'm looking into this but nothing?? But let me digress most authors are very customer aware and that is good for XenForo.
