This is a very weird issue... one that I certainly need to resolve as many view that sidebar donation to see where things are up to...

Any ideas on this issue Robbo?

Okay I have a theory. Try changing the option to something different. Then changing it back to what you want and see if it fixes it.

The donate tab is still there, and the donate page is fine. The forum home sidebar... nothing. Isn't showing the top donor or donate blocks, both being ticked in the ACP options.

I am having the exact issue as Anthony - any idea on what could be causing this ? The side bar block is very important for visibility

I don't know how or why it would happen now but I do know since more than once person is having it I should be able to reproduce. Expect a release tomorrow to fix any issues.

Did all of that. From enabling / disabling sidebar blocks, to the mod, even reverting backwards then forwards... no change after the fact.

I am going to go as far today as establish a new dev replica of my main site, then try and find if it is acting alone or due to another mod.

Fairly sure it is alone since other people have the same issue. So I should be able to sort it out.

I have solved the recent donations issue. And also the donation on the sidebar (I think) but the top donations and donors on the sidebar I can't see any issues with.

During beta file health checks are sometimes missed to get releases out faster. Those are all the files modified and I never updated the file health check (forgot this time, have to manually do things). As long as you have no issues don't worry about it.

Are your promotion issues fixed?

Ah fair enough, that makes sense thanks.

I've updated to 3.1.7, but I'm still struggling with both promotions and donations appearing in the main list.

Will do some more testing when I have the time and let you know if I find anything.

I would like to hugely thank Robbo for spending a good 30 minutes nutting out this issue, which he found the cause of the problem due to PHP 5.2.

You won't like this Robbo, but giving your latest version a try it produces an error "Unspecified Error" and does nothing else.

If I use the prior version, with only the change you outlined in Base.php, then it works perfectly.

That's the only thing I changed :/ Where does the unspecified error come up?

When you click the donate, the popup appears, choose amount then hit donate. The error appears instead of the second confirmation screen.

I fixed it by simply uploading the previous files version again, making the one change to the file, and doing it that way. That fixed the issue.

I was more alerting you in case you had made other changes to the package between releases.

Robbo, I have an interesting point to ask about this, where you had to make an adjustment to suit PHP 5.2, when in fact Xenforo minimum installation requirement is PHP 5.2.4

Shouldn't an add-on be coded to this as a minimum, not modified upwards to suit it?
