DOB Requirement is a Deal Breaker

Privacy is a huge issue in the forums I run. Requiring people to enter a date of birth would prevent me from ever being able to use this software. Are administrators able to disable that function?

Yes, that feature is optional based on ACP settings

We haven't implemented COPPA support (yet?), but tied with the DOB requirement option is a configurable age requirement. It'd be trivial to force members to be 18+.

I don't see it as an issue, you have privacy controls which allow you the choice of what details are seen.
