Do you watch your statistics?

As community owners and leaders, it can often be difficult to not watch the statistics or numbers depending on which way you look at things. Watching the statistics of your forum can either leave you feeling happy about your work and dedication but if you set your heart on certain goals when it comes to statistics and they don't hit when you expect, it can also leave you feeling defeated.

As a community leader yourself, do you watch your statistics?

I am a community leader?
I didn't even know it.

Yes I watch the statistics, and for the moment it's quite simple: my statistics are those of the forum... and vice versa.
But I don't give up hope of seeing someone register one day.

Yes you're the community leader 🙂

I would argue that out of all of the traditional terms that we use - Webmaster, administrator, owner, etc - that community leader best symbolizes the primary goal. Your job isn't to install or configure or be a system administrator, it's to be a people leader.

Speaking of statistics. I have a CloudFlare Pro plan and get some statistics information from that, but it is limited.

Does any one here use any statistics programs outside of CloudFlare and Google Analytics that you feel are good to help monitor the progress of your site?

When I used to use Windows servers there was a statistics program that I liked and I think it was call Smarter Stats. It was part of the Smarter Tools website here:

Does anyone have any experience with a similar stats program without having to rely on CloudFlare and Google?

Thank you.
