Absolutely addictive. True, if it's used for a forum called (say) "Dust Bunnies: Discuss!" it's probably not going to help liven things up - software can only do so much. But overall I think this software would add instant momentum to any board with a decent topic that people are interested in.

I've already spent far more time in here the past few weeks than on any other forum I post on, including forums with topics I'm more interested in. And I plan to lobby one of those boards to look at this and think about switching.

I love it. How unique is it to have such a diverse group of people get together over a common passion? Plus the side discussion where people disagree but at least manage to stay on topic and be respectful is refreshing.

We have all had to jump in the middle of heated, passionate discussions elsewhere and referee the name calling and insults. To me at least (and plenty of people have and will continue to disagree with me), it seems like we're able to disagree here and avoid that for the most part.

I think that's one of the greatest strengths of XF. Its not just the extraordinarily high quality of the software, but also of the people who have chosen to adopt it. And lets not forget the mod devs. We may not have the quantity that other software enjoys, but I think the quality is unrivaled.

Now if we can finally get around to giving IB the legal ***** slapping they so richly deserve, XF will be free to rocket ahead of the competition.

Yes it's addictive posting here ^_^

Hmmm..After my communities and most communities I lurk around have been converted to xF for the past year.....I finally visited a vB site a few days ago and a had alot of trouble using User CP to do set up everything to my tastes and now every other forum software is slow to me.

Yeah. The support's awesome. I probably have around 30 dozen unanswered threads on vbulletin's support forums but every one on here gets answered.
