Lack of interest Discussion Threads: Ability to Upvote and Downvote Posts

I see the upvoting and downvoting feature is available for question threads. Adding this feature to discussion threads makes great sense too. This would help people quickly find the most meaningful info and encourage high quality contributions from late-comers.

That's merely a reaction feature. It doesn't allow to sort posts based on votes or display prominently one or several posts with most votes within a thread.

Edit the thread >> Change thread type >> convert to a question thread

Then it can be upvoted.

You would use the Question format. The up/downvote arrows will appear for all replies, answers, discussion, whatever. So in essence, yes, this is already available.

If you want to change the language of your Question tab you can, if you want to welcome actual questions and discussion.
