I'm throwing around the idea of offering a discount of upgraded accounts to .edu students. I do not want to throw out a promo code due to misuse. I'd prefer to allow everyone with a .edu email address to be the only ones that can register using that particular group (and be assigned the regular user group, otherwise).
Can anyone think of a way to make this possible? I'm not a programmer, so custom code cannot be made by me.
I have already setup user group, just need to figure out how to prevent non-.edu from registering. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It might also not be possible. Just let me know.
