XF 2.2 Disallow Hotmail emails

Is there a way to disallow users to register using a hotmail email address?

it is always a problem and Microsoft blocks everything, so maybe a way to tell users, please use another email, hotmail is not allowed.

Use the Banned emails function in the ACP - enter *@hotmail.*.

Go to Users > Banned emails and add *@hotmail.com (.de .ca etc) on your blacklist.

And that will let the user know to please use another email because hotmail is not allowed?

Or it will just block them?

There will be a message when they attempt register that the email address is not allowed.

You can edit the phrase to explicitly state it is hotmail addresses, or use a notice.

It's probably just easier to edit the phrase - email_address_you_entered_has_been_banned_by_administrator.

Thank you. I have filled in the form and got a reply saying they cannot remove the mitigation.

I replied back with a detailed message of what the site is about, what emails I send etc.. So far no response.

Make sure the following are valid and set correctly on your server:

DKIM
SPF
Reverse DNS (PTR)

If you have cPanel you can check these are set correctly using the 'Email Deliverability' link.

Yes. They have all been correctly set. Cpanel shows it as valid.
