Disable the Prefix System?

Anyway to disable the prefix system? I was using prefix images for all of my threads before for an idea, and now I don't need it. I'd rather the entire prefix system to go away, without having to edit a few thousand threads manually. Any ideas??

Can't you just delete the prefixes from the AdminCP?

Not if I want to use them again the future lol. I'd rather just take out the system where I can just put the coding back in to re-enable it. I just can't find the right code to do it.

Admin CP -> Applications -> Thread Prefixes

When editing a prefix there is a Forums and Permissions tab where you can restrict the usage. That may work for you.
