Is there a way to make it so that when a user clicks to view the thread it redirects them to the first page and first post by default, rather than to the last and most recent post?

Click the #1 in the upper right corner and then copy the URL in the address bar.

If they haven't accessed that post ever then then they will get directed to the first post. At least thats what happens when visit a thread I haven't seen before.
