Differentiating Members and Guests in Google Analytics

Is there a way to get this to work with Real time analytics? I haven't figured out how yet.

This resource says "Compatible XF 1.x versions 1.0, 1.1, 1.2"

... has anybody tried this for more recent versions? I'd really like to find a way to segment member vs guest data in Google Analytics.

I'm looking into it right now, XenForo 2 uses gtag.js.
Same template name "google_analytics".

No it will not work on XF2, template syntax is different from XF1

But I just said it uses gtag.js now.
It's pretty easy to add new dimensions and metrics but I'm not sure where to put the event to send them.

Lol, yeah, that's why I was saying it now uses gtag.js

Pretty certain the question being asked was directed to the 1.x.x series, as there are no addons for XF1 that would work in XF2.
