Did anyone try Alexa flashbriefing with XF ?

Hi,
over the weekend I played a bit with Amazon Alexa and stumbled over a post where people added their (rss)feed (mainly wordpress) to Alexa's Flashbriefing. The steps itself are easy, only drawback is that Alexa does not like the format of the threads/posts presented. I tried with my forum's rss-feed as well as with the one here.


Did anybody in the past create an addon/filter for rss-feeds that only returns the text without any additional markup so that it can be consumed by tools like Alexa ?

Doing a bit of research, @AndyB has a feed-addon that looked more promising initially, but it of course links to the threads which make Alexa fail. But the addon at least is configurable on what forums to serve for the feed itself.

Googling found a PHP-project named Simplepie, which is a feed-parser that normalizes feeds (can be used commercially and has an API). Going to the demo and putting XF's rss-feed in there, looks promising to be read be tools like Alexa:


Now someone just needs to connect the dots and create an addon
