Detecting AI by Reaction

Proposal - a Reaction option (like the existing Like, Love, Ha-Ha, etc.) for "I think this is AI-generated"

Why? - we've had a lot of post recently asking questions on our topic-specific forum that are, for lack of a better word, too good. They seem clearly AI-generated, but in the interest of not censoring except when necessary, I've allowed them. I think an option for our users to flag something as seeming like it's AI-generated would be useful, and just as anyone can see the Likes a post or reply has received, people could see what their fellow forum members think.

I will, although I haven't been given a budget for this, entertain proposals to add this on to our XF installation.

Are you suggesting this for core Xenforo? I don't think this should really be added by default as a lot of sites, mine included don't need this.

If you're looking to add this yourself though, you could just add the emoji into the Admin CP -> Content -> Reactions and it would let users flag a message. If you want to get fancy, you could make your own emoji, or commission one.

That's pretty easy to achieve - you can add it yourself. Go to /admin.php?reactions/ and add ne that you like. Quick and dirty:

Excellent - I never knew this was an option in the ACP, will run this by my in-house colleagues then, if they're on board, implement it this way.

Would anyone care to talk me through this? I found

and it comes up with an icon for this I didn't choose. How do I change it to be something else?

NB: I am called an admin of my forum but we have a separate person, an outside developer, who manages things at the level of installing add-ons and the like. I am really just a moderator with a lot of rights.

Okay so the emoji replacement means what emoji your going to use. For example :ai: means the country flag. What you want to do instead if use the :robot: in the Emoji replacement.

You can also then change the Text colour from blank -> #FF4D4D which will make the text linked with this reaction red. (The linked text is Members who reacted to message and the text next to an emoji once your react to it.)

Finally, the display order, where do you want it to appear in the reactions list. Do you want it last first etc. Edit this number and position it where on the list you want it.
