Deleting Jpegs from old threads.

We are now well over a million posts, with 2300 members, and while I am currently moving servers, I am noticing the sheer amount of jpegs is mind boggling.
Is there a way to retain post integrity ( words etc.) of old threads (a year or more), but delete all the jpegs & gifs associated with those posts?

You can use the attachment browser in the ACP to filter, select, and delete attachments: /admin.php?attachments/
