XF 2.1 Deleted database?

Is it possible to restore a deleted (missing) database? I wish to make my site live again, after being dormant for over a year. I can't seem to find the XF database in my cPanel.

Unless you have a copy of the database on your computer or the server, no.

Check in phpMyAdmin.

If the database wasn't deleted it should be there.

Ask your host if they have an old backup - it may be on the server somewhere.

Brogan, if I download the latest XF version that I'm allowed, is it possible to re-install XF on the server that way? If I need to start from scratch, in other words, have a clean install, with no data from my forum, that is okay.
