XF 2.2 Delete posts by guest/deleted user?

Hello everyone.

A former user wants to wipe their digital footprint and has requested us to delete/edit every post they have ever created with their (now deleted) account.

Is it possible to do this? If so, how?

If a member account is deleted before the posts are deleted, you have to manually locate and delete the posts individually.

However, you are under no obligation to do so - the content belongs to the site and removal can only be enforced if it relates to GDPR or whatever laws govern your particular installation.

Thanks @Brogan, that makes sense. Would love to hear from other admins in an area governed by GDPR and see hoy everybody is handling this.
