XF 2.2 Delete a message within a private message thread

A large group conversation and someone has posted within some personal details that on reflection they would like to delete. I can't see a way to do this, is it possible? Thanks

Give them (temporarily) longer edit time in their permissions for conversation messages.

Another thing you could do is ask them to invite you into the DM and if your own direct message mod permissions allow you can then edit their message.

Bear in mind: if your forum sends out Email alerts to conversation participants containing message text, then there is absolutely nothing you can do to redact that from the inboxes of the recipients.
