XF 1.4 Decrease CPU Resources?

We just got an email from our host stating that our account has been "abusing CPU resources for an extended period of time." We are on a share plan and allotted 25% of our server's resources. I have just disabled the Live Update addon that I installed last night, changed the cache rate on the one widget I had at a faster rate, and rewrote our .htaccess file to remove the www to non-www rewriting that we did last week.

Are there any other target areas I should be addressing? We are a growing site and will soon have to look at upgrading our servers, but I didn't think we were to that point yet.

I have just disabled the Live Update addon that I installed last night

This is probably directly related -- that will make constant requests to your server. I've seen a noticeable change in requests on even a small forum from that being installed. (It did increase the server load as well, but in this case, it was still really tiny levels.)
