I was talking about a developer preview of xenforo2, not this addon.

Branding free was a few days ago 60 Dollar for an addon that costs 20 Dollar !?

Well I did pay it ........ however, the author is not around, did email and also sent message here on Xenforo.
I have the branding visible now since days. In the addon there is an option to enter a key to remove branding, and you need to request the key via email.

You must be carefull with this plugin, many have their forum hacket after this plugin was installed. You may use it and then uninstall it again, it is not safe to use at all!! The author is not very trustworthy and people should be aware of what troubles they buy for €20!!

Source? Do you have anything to prove that? Maybe some logs?

disturbing allegations. I've been using this for a few years, never had a problem. But, I wish I could improve upon it and also get rid of the branding for a lot less than $60.

Note, I don't allow members to fix their broken links which I'm guessing... that could be a potential risk if allowed.

I also get that sometimes, but it's not our end that is the problem. It's their sever configuration.
Check the server header, it's giving 404 response.

If the header response is ok I don't know.
Or do you have an extra / behind the url or so or is it redirecting from http to https? Maybe try the http version? or without www.
That might or might not do the trick.

Also, even after whitelisting the domain, this is still showing as a 404

@au lait I have uninstalled this add-on but Why still using database table? Database table are not removed with Uninstalling?
