XF 1.2 Dead History Links

All posts (or, rather, messages now) that had edits were imported properly with a last edited note and a history link. However, the history links are dead.

Is there a query I can run that will remove all last edited notes and history links (as if the messages were never edited)?

You can try changing the history tracking and prune to 1 day.
After 24 hours everything should be purged.
Then you can change it back to whatever you like.

Thank you. I'll set it to zero after it's pruned.

Also, while we're on the edit history subject, does setting "Enable edit log display after X minutes" to zero disable the feature or make the last edited note appear at any time after posting (like, if I post and edit the message five seconds later).

This didn't seem to work. I'm still seeing last edited notes and history links on posts that were edited back on vBulletin.

The option just prunes the data - the links/last edit note will still show. The only way to remove them is to manipulate the data in the DB directly (specifically the edit count and last edit date).
