How are payments sent and received? I see in xf payment profiles Paypal using your email address is being discontinued, do I need to setup an api with Paypal, as that requires a business account.

It works the same way as setting up payment profiles for account upgrades, so you might need to use the new PayPal handler if that’s the case.
@DragonByte Tech - Is it possible to hide/disable the public donation log? (Didn't see anything in screenshots)
@DragonByte Tech what sort of permissions and conditions does this support? I need to switch from TH Donate which to be fair has been flawless over the years but alas appears to be unsupported long term.
In particular I am checking if your add-on supports the following perms:
1. Multiple donation campaigns
2. User upgrade options - for a) donating X amt over Y days b) donating X amt per campaign c) donating X times
3. Some kind of user donation page would be good (or account profile section) where users can view what they've contributed

Fully supported; donation campaigns can have their own goals / runtime / recurring settings / payment profiles
This is not as extensive as you'd like, unfortunately. Here's the current list of criteria which can be used for the "User group promotions" feature in XenForo:
The reason why there aren't more extensive options is for performance reasons, as I don't want to have to trigger potentially expensive queries to check whether a criteria matches.
No such page exists at this time, though it's certainly an interesting idea. If you have a mockup (or a screenshot of a page, if it exists in the other addon) I can add it to the next version

. I can do more prompting later on today. Obviously some functionality cannot be extended to users i.e. create campaigns but it captures some elements adequately.
This would be located in the account profile page. It's informational page as well as incentivizing user to signup for more donations.

If we don't have extensive criteria does the add-on at least support adding users to X per donation event? It's basic but at least I can segment my donors into groups based on what campaign they've contributed to without going to expensive user group promo queries.

Hi,
You can set the "View donation history" permission to "No" to hide the donation log. Users donating anonymously does not prevent them from receiving any entitlements such as user groups.

I need some help finding this. Have looked where I can think of but can't seem to find it.
Groups & permissions > User group permissions > Choose group
Groups & permissions > Donation drive permissions > Choose drive > Choose group
Groups & permissions > Analyze permissions > Donation drive permissions > Choose user + drive
What version of XenForo and the addon are you running? If you’re on XF 2.2 it’s possible that feature doesn’t exist there as it might have been added in the course of the XF 2.3 updates.
Latest of each:
- XF 2.3.10
- DB Donate 4.0.6

I haven't heard any bug reports from v5 so it should be okay for you to run. If you run into any issues post them @ DBTech and I'll assist as quickly as I can
