I've got a script which updates xf_thread, xf_post and xf_forum when creating new automatic threads, but I've noticed that watchers aren't receiving alerts and emails when a new thread is created. This is the main desired function of doing this, so I'm trying to figure out which table(s) and/or functionality are responsible for sending out watcher notifications.
I'm not sure that just creating an entry into a table will be enough to trigger the notification sending system like it was for adding thread/posts.
If any of the XF devs or anyone with a good knowledge of the way this works can point me to the right table for this it would be v.much appreciated
