Back in the vBulletin days there was an addon called vbDynamics that enabled an Admin to create multiple instances of any type of section for their site. IPS also has this extremely powerful feature built in.

You can create a page with an attached database with records so you can create any number of different site sections an Admin would want to provide their users.

Here are some screen shots of different sections of my site that I have created using pages with a database of records attached (using other software):
