Data Import IPB v2.3.6 to XenForo?

Hi

I'm in the process of migrating off of a really old version of IPB (v2.3.6) over to XenForo 1.5.9. I see there are XenForo importers for IPB 3.x but don't see it for my ancient version of IPB. Does anyone know if it would be possible to use the 3.1 importer on my IPB v2.3.6? I would like to try and migrate the data from the old forum if possible, so I'm hoping someone out there might have some good feedback.

It's unlikely to work - I suspect the schema and potentially file structure are different.

You can always try on a test/localhost install.
