D.C Style submitted a new resource:

D.C Style - Thumbnail - Allow users to enable cover image & thumbnail image for their threads.

Introduce​

Allow users to enable cover image for their threads and add thumbnails to forum view.

  • Customize thumbnail for each thread. Supports attachment images, external images and thumbnail from videos on Youtube, Vimeo and Dailymotion (updating…).
  • Turn on/off cover image for each thread.
  • Add og:image tag for Facebook sharing.
  • Supports permission for each member group.

That's fine. But would you make it compatible with it once the stable version will be released? As I see no point to use it if won't be released for xF2. 2
 
It does work with TH styles. Lot of things to like about this addon, especially considering it's free. A couple additions that would be nice: ability to have thumbnails appear smaller on widgets than they do on threadview, even if this has to be a default standard size reduction, like 50% of whatever the pixel size options are; and if the thumbnails would display on search results.

So people know, whether or not images appear circular or square is dependent on avatar settings. Just figured I'd mention it, because this isn't the case with a couple of other similar addon's I've used.

Tried to install but get no errors. Which actions or page do you get this?
 
I like it. Will wait for 2.2 version. Will the thumbnail also show on the following pages: search result page, tag page, whats new page, last post page, on the my profile pages that show threads?

  • Last post page, what's new page: Yes.
  • Search result page, tag page, profile page: No.
