Hi, it doesn't seem to work in my case, let me explain.

All my users have the "Registered" group as their main group and I have unchecked the attachment display to "No".

I created a sub group named "Advanced"
and I selected the attachment view to "Yes"

I created the group promotion.

And with xenforo it works.

Now, I have downloaded your addon, and I have given view permissions on "Yes" to the users of the "Registered" group,

I left the view permissions for the advanced group on "No".

I have tried several times but it still shows the warning anyway.
I also tried as many scenarios as possible. I'm stuck. Please have a guide or something on how to set permissions correctly?

Set it to Never.

Also, note that for this add-on if you set it to Yes it means it will hide the attachment with the notice.

Is this also working for resource images that are put in via url ?
Im looking for an way to hide the images in my resources.
All the resources just have url images so i cant use the resource permission (can view images).
This is just working for uploadet pictures and not url based ones.

there are some addons that provides the function to hide url based images, links and codes but nothing is working for resources.

Hi @BassMan,

nice little add-on. But...

...would be realy great if you add settings for forum-ids to use it more selectiv. ;-)
So we can let guests and Robots see what they can see, but quality attachments only registerd members eg.

At the moment its not so helpfull as it can be with support for forums-ID selektion.

Would it be possible to add a feature to exclude forums? Currently it hides all attachments, meaning if you have a article forum it also hides the attached image that functions as a featured image. Or maybe a setting to exclude images over all or choose the type of attachments that would be hidden. For example only hide .zip files. Since XF already have that option I don't think it would be hard to implement(?).
