XF 2.0 Custom user field

I am creating a custom user field. But I can not get the data in this custom user field using the {$xf.visitor.custom_fields.my_fields_id} code.
I tried on these templates but I didn't get results: post_macros,message_macros and your own custom template but no result.
The message works when I turn on user information elements, but it does not do what I need
I want help solving this problem. why can not I get the data with {$xf.visitor.custom_fields.my_fields_id} code?
